Haarlem is a city in the province Noord Holland in the westen part of the Netherlands near the Noord Zee (North Sea). Haarlem is a 20 minutes drive from Amsterdam, 40 minutes from Den Haag (The Hague), 60 minutes from Rotterdam and 10 minutes from Zandvoort (a sea side resort).
